JET (dba JLove International) is an events and training company that is less than a year old and is already making a difference in communities locally and soon, nationally and internationally.
Within months of operating with a small, core team of dedicated and talented people, JLove Empowerment Team (JET) was able to make an impact by presenting a 2-day, personal development seminar that empowered people to make a difference in their own lives as well as the lives of others in the areas of mind set, abundance, and living well.
Currently, JET is in the process of forming into a 501 ( c ) (3) non-profit organization that will benefit women and families in transition and startup businesses needing assistance. As a main focus, JET is dedicated to empowering women to take charge of their own well-being in the areas of wellness; self awareness; exercise; nutrition; finances; organizing; and, creative expression.
JET also publishes a free, quarterly magazine that aligns with our live events. The Bliss AttrACTION™ Magazine for Holistic Living provides a cost-effective way for small businesses and exhibitors to advertise and provide educational editorials about the benefits of their work on improving specific areas of the reader’s life and well-being. In 2011, the magazine will widen its distribution and become available to paid subscribers.
The Holistic Self-Care & Abundance Expo on August 7, 2010, organized by JLove Empowerment Team (JET), consists of holistically (whole person) focused wellness, lifestyle, abundance and business related workshops, activities, and exhibits that inspire and empower attendees to take charge of their own well-being in the areas of wellness; self-awareness; exercise; nutrition; finances; business; self-motivation; organizing; and, creative expression. A portion of the proceeds will benefit A Casa Bella Transitional Housing for Homeless Mothers and their Children.
The target market for this event are women, ages 25-55 who are seeking better ways to take care of themselves while taking care of others on top of a busy lifestyle. This event is also for those who are transitioning in marital status; career; starting a business; care-giver; single mother; empty nester, or anyone suddenly faced with the necessity to take care of their own well-being and personal development, and are seeking guidance. Attendees will be offered on-going support in maintaining the practice of self-care following the event(s). Our self-care/wellness events will be held on-going, bi-monthly. The Holistic Pampering Retreat will be held on October 16, 2010.
Community Support:
JET started out as a network and community of holistic practitioners, trainers, coaches, volunteers, speakers and experts coming together to give continued support for attendees to live their passion; get a regular boost of motivation; inspiration; and coaching.
Sponsorship:
Although the upcoming JET non-profit organization will help further our community vision and mission, we realize we cannot do it by ourselves. For this reason, JET created sponsorship opportunities to help further our mission and vision to reach out and help communities locally and globally.
With this vision, JET formed an alliance with A Casa Bella Transitional Housing for Homeless Mothers and their Children and seeking more supporters and sponsors whose vision and activities align with our vision for community support for families and women.
Increased sponsorship will help sustain our current programming and publishing as well as upcoming community programs and trainings that assist individuals, especially women, with personal development and self empowerment.
