Carmen's Bio:
Carmen Garson has been dancing all of her life in some fashion or other. She started with formal training as a young girl in ballet and flamenco. In her twenties she studied Martha Graham's Modern Dance technique and Belly Dance in Greenwich Village, New York.
Although Carmen left dance to get married, pursue a CPA
career and raise two great kids, now in their twenties, she managed to keep dancing
in her heart.
Ten years ago, Carmen finally came back to dance, her passion. That's how the Goddess Store & Studio was created. Now, Carmen gets to dance everyday. She started studying Belly Dancing with Maja, Maria Jammal and many others. She is also a student of flamenco dance; studied Tantric dance with Vajra Ma from Los Angeles; Trance Dance with Gaia from South Beach; Erotic Spiritual Dance with Annetta from Australia; Exotic Dance with The Art of Exotic Dance for Everyday Women; and, Dervish & Spiritual Dance with Dunya. Carmen currently teaches beginner Belly Dance and Flamenco at Goddess Studio. Carmen enjoys teaching everyone, but especially children, children with special needs, and older, wiser Goddesses.
